In 2019, at the village entrance of Banbidian, a farm house was transformed into a zero energy consumption building zero house. It is also the first zero energy building built and evaluated by the national standard "GB/T51350-2019".

We hope that through the transformation of zero house, we can explore a way to achieve a low cost near zero energy consumption rural residence, retain the traditional architectural features of the rural residence, and introduce new functions in the farmhouse to realize the functional transformation and the rural revival.
What is near zero energy consumption building?
Popularly speaking, near zero energy consumption buildings reduce the demand of heating, air conditioning and lighting by passive building design. Through active technical measures, the energy equipment and system efficiency can be raised to the maximum extent, and full use of renewable energy can provide comfortable indoor environment for users, and its energy consumption level is reduced by more than 60%~70% compared with the national standard.

How can we achieve near zero energy consumption?
Passive ultra low energy consumption technology
The Tianyu zero house project is a single story townhouse renovation project. The original building has larger body shape coefficient and energy saving disadvantage.Performance-based design is the basic method of near zero energy consumption building design. Through performance optimization, we will add passive transitional rooms such as passive sunlight rooms and staircases on the basis of the original buildings, reduce the body shape coefficient of buildings, and adopt the insulation performance of passive housing standard envelope to ensure the energy saving effect of buildings.

A series of technical measures are targeted to the characteristics of rural buildings.In view of the rural one floor building, more attention should be paid to the heat preservation of the ground and roofs. In view of the difficulties in retrofit the air tightness treatment of buildings, the buildings are divided into three gas tight areas. For the non thermal bridge, the additional building space structure system is independent from the main building. The red brick is built on the basis of the rural red brick architectural appearance and external insulation, and the sandwich insulation is formed, taking into account the architectural style and features.Building air tightness.

The assembly module unit adopts SMART-6 light steel assembly unit structural system, and two kinds of insulation materials are filled inside and outside to ensure the heat transfer coefficient and air tightness of the system. The structure and interior decoration are completed in the factory, and the overall transportation is carried out to the scene to complete the installation and external decoration.

Zero house has realized the organic integration of photovoltaic building integration.The rooftop combines the amorphous silicon solar photovoltaic watts selected from the traditional slope style of the traditional residence, while the passive roof of the sunlight house adopts the color film photovoltaic. The total installed machine is 7.1kWp, which provides electricity for the building in the way of grid connection.The residential module sets solar water heating system to provide hot water for kitchen and toilet.Buildings with ultra-low energy consumption reduce energy consumption as much as possible, and achieve the near zero energy consumption with the help of renewable energy capacity.

How to realize rural style in space?
The function of zero house combined with display, office, book, meeting and residence can become a space for creating rural customers and low carbon display.In the space mode, the layout of the original two courtyards is preserved, and the solar room and staircase wind tower are used as the contact space as the buffer space for the climate.

The green technology of zero house is more likely to be presented in an artistic way. Therefore, color, light and shadow, waste materials, original wall painting and vertical greening have become the means of architectural expression.

Tianyu zero house is a demonstration project of the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission. We propose: "explore the rural near zero energy consumption building?"The direct impact of this decision is the increase in the cost of construction.

Therefore, in the initial stage of the project, whether we are building materials, construction teams, doors and windows, equipment systems, etc., we are all sold by three goods, and the cost is saved again. We need to ensure the completion effect and control the cost.

PART 2 about construction
Affected by the cost of the project, we chose the local construction team to construct (in fact, the construction team with experience in construction). It was the first time that we designed nearly zero energy consumption buildings. They built the first zero energy consumption building for the first time. We jointly started this magical journey.
Since saving money, it will take a little effort to balance it.In order to better make Lao Huang (field construction team manager) more intuitive understanding of near zero energy consumption building non thermal bridge, high insulation, air tightness and other node practices, our architects detailed to every construction step, every node control is shown in graphic way, and in the current construction of the construction, thanks again to the construction team's super understanding ability and super high technology completion.Degree.
